EAGLE WINGS LADIES BASKETBALL TEAM
2009 Women's Premier League Champions

Eagle Wings Ladies Basketball Team (EWLBT) has been in existence in its present form for 2 years. It was build from an off shoot of what was previously Telkom Kenya Basketball Team. It is made up of 18 distinguished players many of whom have played for the Kenya National Basketball Team. Eagle Wings seeks to equip the youth, with both playing and personal skills to enable them reap economic benefit from sports, or gain academic scholarships.

Currently, Eagle Wings is a self sponsored team and rely on well wishers, basketball fans and former players both in the country and from the Diaspora for assistance.

To be the top class leading women Basketball team within the continent.

Vision:
To Advance the lives of girls and women through sports and physical activity.

Eagle Wings Basketball Team has scored the following achievements

• 2009 Winner's Kenya National Premier League

• 2008 Runners Up Kenya National Premier League
• 2008 Feminine African Club Championships 10th Position
• Winners – U24 Body and Milk Fest 2008
• 2007 Runners Up Kenya National Premier League
• Winners – Western Union 3 on 3 2007
• 2006 Champions Kenya National Premier League
• 2005 Runners Up Kenya National Premier League
• 2004 Runners Up Kenya National Premier League
Eagle Wings participated in the Zone 5 Qualifiers played in Kampala, Uganda from July 26th – August 2nd 2009.
• Over the past 4 years, Eagle Wings Team have been involved in corporate social responsibility activities.

Objectives
• To be the top team within the Zone 5 region
• To be the top team in Kenya both in discipline and performance
• To qualify for Africa Feminine Club Championships and World Feminine Club Championships
• Build positive morals and standards in sports ethics
• Encourage players personal development
• To produce quality National Team players
• To produce the top player of the year
• To acquire the top team award/s
• Achieve top scores in all matches
• Encourage community service and community development attitudes among players
• To facilitate a coaches clinic annually
• To facilitate an All Star event for players annually.
• To maintain a positive corporate image
